Sheep Dip Dunkers

Herdy Sheep Dip Dunkers: Herdy Shortbread dipped in melted chocolate, decorated with sprinkles

Plunge Herdy into a pool of delicious melted chocolate and sprinkle with fun colourful decorations. These scrummy shortbread treats are easy to make and fun for all the family.

What you need to make Herdy “Sheep Dip Dunkers”

  • 200g Melted Chocolate
  • 15 Herdy Shortbread (1 large tin)
  • Assortment of decorations
  • Greaseproof paper

1 .Begin by breaking up your chocolate and gently heating it in the microwave or a bain-marie until silky smooth. Give it a quick stir to make sure all the chunks have melted.

2. Dunk your herdy shortbread in the pool of yummy melted chocolate up to his chin. You may find it easier to transfer your chocolate to a mug to give herdy a deeper bath. Once dipped, hold herdy up high and let all the access chocolate drip off. Repeat this step with all 15 shortbreads, you will have a little chocolate left over at the end, but that's never a bad thing!

3. Rest your dunked shortbread on some greaseproof paper, make sure it is on a flat surface so the chocolate doesn't escape. Next, sprinkle the chocolate area with your decorations, remember to include the sides and add plenty!

4. Chill your shortbreads in the fridge for half an hour, or longer if you can. Then enjoy your Sheep Dip Dunkers with a brew or on their own.
